Starting with 16 years of community banking, I worked in various retail roles before moving into management. During this strange time of developing a sales role within banking, I was introduced to merchant processing, which quickly evolved into my passion project. I felt so motivated by its complex challenges and relished the opportunity to provide value and create meaningful, long-lasting relationships with my clients.
After 8 years in the payments industry as a consistent top performer, I co-founded Beyond Payments just over 3 years ago. After the first few months as a Regional VP, I quickly realized that the lack of personal contact with business owners and clients was for me dreadfully unsatisfying. I’m a Leo after all, so, heart on my sleeve I stepped back into a personal contributor role as Business Advocate which has always given me the chance to really connect, help people and keep me smiling.
I’m always on the road able to support business owners, supporting my family while also giving back to the community through Beyond’s designated beneficiary nonprofit Give Something Back. GiveBack provides college scholarships and mentoring to students who have faced economic hardship and other challenges such as foster care. Why… “because giving feels good”!
When I’m not actually working for my clients, I enjoy a very busy, fun-filled family life. We LIVE to travel! My partner and I along with our two kids Lexi 16, Grady 26 are all certified divers and avid skiers or what I like to call it “surf and turf.” I just took up golf last year (I am taking lessons and working to clean up my slice!) and enjoy hiking with our 1.5 year old black lab, Miley. Miley was the result of a cold call to a veterinarian- yes, the vet is now a very happy client!
